Church in Many Locations

COVID-19 has scattered the church. We are back meeting in the church building, for worship only. Wearing masks, social distancing, and no contact worship, we are trying to stay safe. This last Sunday, for the second time, we had more worshippers on our Zoom broadcast than we had in the building. On Zoom we have people join us from Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. We also have two people who join us by telephone, both in Dolores but not able to come to the church. I wonder if this is the new reality for church. I am opening comments for this post. Let me know what you think

Welcome to Pastor Rodger's Neighborhood

Welcome to the neighborhood. Here you will find information, inspiration, challenge, and hope. A little about me. (That will be sufficient.) God called me out of retirement to pastor the Dolores Church. I have over 35 years of pastoral experience in churches large and small. In addition I serve as an adjunct professor at Gateway (formerly Golden Gate) seminary. My wife Jennifer and I moved to the Dolores area and built a log home. We enjoy Colorado, and love serving Jesus.
